Aaron Raath
Founder, President, & CEO of Cathtect USA
Aaron has been working in cathodic protection since 2006 and led Cathtect Engineering in South Africa as CEO at age 32. In 2018, he relocated his family to the U.S. and founded Cathtect USA — building a company that offers a true one-stop-shop CP solution across multiple industries. He is CP2 certified, Vice President of the AMPP Central Florida Corrosion chapter, and a former Executive Committee member of the Corrosion Institute of Southern Africa.

Shalene Raath
Office Manager
Shalene brings an extraordinary background to her role — a former South African international rhythmic gymnast, three-time World Championship competitor, and national champion. She holds a B.Sc. in Sport and Life Sciences and an Honours degree in Biokinetics (cum laude). After decades coaching at the national level, Shalene co-founded Cathtect USA in 2019 and now manages day-to-day operations with the same discipline and people-first leadership she built in elite sport.
Gwynedd Hilberts
Operations Manager & Engineer
Gwynedd brings over 13 years of hands-on experience in cathodic protection product manufacturing and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Before joining Cathtect USA, she served as VP and Operations Manager at M.C. Miller Company, Inc. Her expertise spans product manufacturing, supply and project management, quality control, and compliance — giving her both the technical depth and operational range to lead with authority.
