The BAC Pin Braze MKII Unit and Accessories is ideally suited for many applications including continuity bonding between pipes, across flanges, connection of cathodic protection test and current carrying cables and connection of bracelet galvanic anodes and much more wherea ground or connection to metalis structure is needed.
With the earth device in place the gun trigger is depressed and after approximately 1.5 to 2 seconds the circuit is mechanically broken as the fuse wire breaks, and the brazing pin is held into the molten pool of brazing alloy that rapidly cools into a homogenous and very strong connection.
Pin brazing is an easy, metallurgically safe method of making electrical connections to steel and ductile iron pipelines, as well as other metallic substrate that are to be cathodically protected, electrically earthed or electrically bonded.

The Bond is superior to Thermite welding, with lower operating temperatures and safer to use. additionally, the weld in Pin Brazing does not damage coating and safer to use in most applications for connections of Cable and grounding to Pipelines, tanks, rails and various structures for a reliable connection.
